To increase access to local, healthy, and affordable food; to facilitate education and skill-building related to community food matters; to foster community relationships that offer creative solutions to local food issues; to address gaps that prevent Timmins from being a food secure community.

Providing land and knowledgesharing opportunities for community members to grow fresh produce for themselves and for emergency food and shelter organizations with the COMMUNITY GARDENS

 

 

Community-wide gardening workshops enhanced local knowledge – from the planting stage to utilizing garden-grown food in everyday recipes, and everything in between!
